[MAIL] An OB/GYN doctor practicing in Washington state has been charged with the rape of an underage female family member, which prosecutors say has been going on for more than six years.Vulihn Ta, 51, is accused of raping the family member more than 15 times in a hot tub when she was 11 years old or younger.
The female victim, who is still underage, told police the doctor would buy her video games in a bid to stop her telling anyone about the alleged sexual assault.
Court documents say the abuse occurred between the years of 2017 and 2024, with the most recent sexual assault happening in early April, Fox 13 Seattle reported.
The sexual abuse allegedly began when Ta got a habit of following the victim after she took showers. This abuse went on for several more years, only to seemingly escalate once the home had a hot tub installed, according to court documents.
The relationship between the victim and the gynecologist is unknown.
