Lamu Village On Lockdown As Security Forces Hunt For Al Shabaab
[RADIOSHABELLE] Residents of Ras Kamboni village on the Lamu-Somalia border were on Saturday held temporarily under house curfew as security units led by the Kenya Defense Forces combed the area in search of suspected al-Shabaab
...... an Islamic infestation centering on Somalia attempting to metastasize into Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and similar places, all ofwhich have enough problems without them...
hard boys.

The security agencies had received intelligence that the turbans had arrived in the area and were planning attacks in the region.

The villagers’ movements were limited as they were instructed not to wander far from their homes lest they were caught up in the operation.

The massive crackdown is also believed to have been largely precipitated by the recent IED terror attacks in the border area of Kiunga, Ishakani, and others in the last couple of weeks.

Both areas all fall under those mapped under the Linda Boni security operation.

The operation was launched in 2015 to flush out Al-Shabaab murderous Moslems believed to be holed up inside the Boni forest from where they have been launching attacks on various parts of Lamu and neighboring counties.

Locals said they were locked in their houses for the better part of Saturday with many reporting hearing gunshots and explosions around their village indicative of fiery
...a single two-syllable word carrying connotations of both incoherence and viciousness. A fiery delivery implies an audience of rubes and yokels, preferably forming up into a mob...
fire exchange.

They were also barred from using the Ishakani-Ras Kamboni route so as to allow the security units to ward off the terrorists.

"We stayed indoors for almost the entire day. They didn’t force us but made us understand that it was a security crackdown on suspected al-Shabaab hard boys. We could hear loud gunshots and explosions. They were very close to our village," Ahmed Islam said.

Residents also reported hearing of another IED terror attack at a location between Ras Kamboni and Ishakani at the border on Saturday dawn that is said to have left two civilians dead.

"We believe its the attack that prompted them to hold the curfew on our village and conduct the operation. It was only until around 6 pm in the evening that we were allowed to go to the shops," Omar Mohammed said.

Security officers have refused to comment on the house curfew or admit to the alleged IED attack that killed two and prompted the lockdown of an entire village for hours.

One of the senior security officers in Lamu, however, denied that Ras Kamboni village had been on lockdown and said the gunshots and explosions reported by the villagers were from a routine drill by security agencies from a nearby camp.

Efforts to get a comment from the Linda Boni operation bosses were futile as their phones went unanswered.

SOS Mediterranee relaunch migrant rescue missions off Libya
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Humanitarian group SOS Mediterranee said Sunday it has relaunched migrant rescue operations off Libya, seven months after it was forced to abandon efforts using its ship Aquarius.

SOS Mediterranee and Doctors Without Borders (MSF) "are back at sea with a new vessel, the Ocean Viking, to conduct search and rescue activities in the central Mediterranean," it said.

"As people are still fleeing Libya on one of the most perilous sea crossings in the world, and with almost no available rescue assets present in the central Mediterranean, it has been an imperative for both SOS Mediterranee and MSF to return at sea following the ending of their operations with the Aquarius in December 2018."

6 policemen martyred in gun, bomb attack in DI Khan
[DAWN] Nine people, including three civilians and six coppers, died in two back-to-back attacks in Dera Ismail Khan
... the Pearl of Pashtunistan ...
on Sunday.

According to Dl Khan District Police Officer (DPO) Salim Riaz, unidentified button men on four cycle of violences opened fire on coppers at the Kotla Saidan checkpost in a residential area at approximately 7:45am on Sunday morning, martyring two coppers.

Following the gun attack, a suicide kaboom took place at the hospital where the victims were shifted, the DPO said. The bomber struck at the entrance to the hospital, martyring four coppers and three civilians who were visiting their relatives.

Inayatullah, a local forensics expert, said the attacker was female and set off 7 kilograms of explosives packed with nails and ball-bearings. However,
there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened...
police have yet to confirm or deny details about the bomber as the investigation is still in its early stages.

About 30 others were maimed in the two incidents, DPO Riaz said.

The blast damaged the emergency room, forcing it to be shut down, according to a hospital official, who said the maimed were then shifted to a military hospital. The official spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisal.

The DPO added that according to an initial probe, the attack appeared premeditated.

The TTP claimed the attack but did not acknowledge that the bomber was a woman. According to a statement from TTP spokesperson Muhammad Khorasani, the attack was carried out in retaliation for the killing of a suspected terrorist by the Counter-Terrorism Department in DI Khan on June 23.
The Daily Mail has post-attack photos and video, and adds:
Police have now arrested 16 suspects in the attack, all of whom belong to banned organisations.

Police officer Habib Ahmed said authorities also seized weapons during the manhunt.

Dera Ismail Khan has seen a number of suicide attacks over the past decade as the Pakistani military carried out a campaign to suppress militant attacks in the area, an important hub in the £48billion China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

IDF moves to demolish East Jerusalem buildings in PA-controlled area — NGO
[IsraelTimes] Troops said to arrive in Sur Baher neighborhood to raze structures, evict Paleostinian residents after court green-lights move; no immediate confirmation from army.

The Israel Defense Forces overnight Sunday-Monday moved to demolish several East Jerusalem buildings constructed near the security barrier, activists said.

There was no immediate confirmation from the military.

Demolition of unauthorized Paleostinian-owned structures in East Jerusalem is not unusual. However,
there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened...
the homes slated for demolition, some of which are still under construction, are located in the Paleostinian Authority-controlled Area A of the West Bank.

Israel says the 10 structures facing demolition in the Sur Baher neighborhood are in an area where construction is barred because of its proximity to the security barrier.

Paleostinians have charged that the security concerns are a pretext to push them out of the Jerusalem area, and say it is nearly impossible to receive construction permits from Israeli authorities, resulting in a housing shortage in Arab neighborhoods in the city.

A High Court of Justice ruling last month dismissed a petition by Paleostinian residents requesting the cancellation of a military order prohibiting construction in the area.

The court’s dismissal of the case brought an end to the residents’ seven-year legal battle against a military order that halted work on the apartment buildings. Though the permits for the buildings were issued by the PA’s planning ministry nearly 10 years ago, Israel in 2012 ordered a halt to construction work in the area known as Wadi al-Hummus, citing its close proximity to the security barrier.

On June 18, Paleostinian residents received a 30-day notice from Israeli authorities informing them of their intent to demolish the homes. The notice period ended on Thursday.

Around 3 a.m. on Monday, activists from the All That’s Left Collective: Anti-Occupation Collective NGO said the military began moving into the neighborhood ahead of the demolitions.

"The army has began arranging equipment to begin demolition, including cutting the separation barrier to approach a house with residents that is scheduled for demolition. People on the scene report heavy military presence as well as large construction equipment," it said in a statement.

"Residents are staying in their homes resisting the demolition along with 40 international and Israeli activists who are present to witness and provide solidarity," the statement added.

Around 6 a.m., the group said hundreds of Israeli troops were evicting the Paleostinian residents and removing activists from the buildings.

Earlier, the army dispersed several dozen Paleostinians protesting the planned demolitions.

Shin Bet nabs man who allegedly planned to bomb Ashdod hotel
[IsraelTimes] Indictment says Adel Abu Hadayeb, 20, of Rahat was radicalized online by Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", propaganda, attempted to build bomb and rocket.

The Shin Bet security service said Sunday it had caught an Arab Israeli man who was planning to carry out a terror attack in a hotel in support of the Paleostinian terror group Hamas.

Adel Abu Hadayeb, 20, of the southern Bedouin town of Rahat, was indicted Sunday in the Beersheba District Court for allegedly planning to bomb the Leonardo Hotel in Ashdod, which was near where he worked as a gardener.

Abu Hadayeb became a supporter of Hamas after being exposed to online propaganda materials for the group, the indictment reads, and had already attempted to construct a bomb for the attack by the time he was arrested last month.

He also attempted to build a rocket, and had purchased some of the materials needed.

After his arrest, he led Sherlocks to a stash of five grenades ‐ two stun grenades, one smoke grenade and two tear-gas grenades ‐ as well as a "Carlo" rifle he had collected.

In a statement, the Shin Bet said Abu Hadayeb’s alleged radicalization was part of a trend in which Israeli citizens were being "influenced by Hamas propaganda spread on social networks and through Paleostinian media."

Also Sunday, prosecutors filed an indictment in the Jerusalem District Court against a 17-year-old on charges of contacting and aiding a terror group, arson and illegal weapons manufacture.

According to the indictment, the East Jerusalem youth got in touch with two Gazook Hamas operatives in February through Facebook. The operatives asked the suspect to collect photographs and information on Israeli national security sites. The suspect then collected information on military checkpoints and cop shoppes, and sent the operatives footage from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and other locations.

The suspect was aware that the information was being collected to help the Hamas terror group plan military actions, the indictment says.

The suspect had a brush with Israeli security services in the past, after he prepared and threw Molotov cocktails at a Jewish-owned home in the Sheikh Jarah neighborhood in northern Jerusalem in 2017. One of the bombs sparked a fire.
The Jerusalem Post adds, about the first miscreant:
According to the indictment Hadayeb confessed to authorities during his interrogation.

He was indicted for several offenses, including conspiracy to commit a crime (arms trafficking), weapons offenses (arms transfers), weapons offenses (arms possession), weapons offenses (weapons procurement) and weapons offenses (firearms). He was also indicted for attempting to make a bomb, an attempt to carry out an attack against a sensitive facility for terrorist purposes and disruption of legal proceedings.

He was ordered by the court to be detained until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
And according to Ynet, Mr. Hadayeb failed at everything he tried, growing to hate Hamas in the process, though that did not drive him away from the idea of mayhem and destruction.

Insurgent camp seized in Narathiwat after clash
[Bangkok Post] Thai security forces seized a Muslim rebel camp after an exchange of fire in Narathiwat province on Sunday morning. The clash took place after troops, led by the 45th Ranger Task Force, were deployed in three teams to patrol Khao Tawe mountain range near Ban Hae in Rangae district. The deployment followed information that a band of militants led by Abdulloh Bula and Muhammad Kadir was in the area to plan terrorist attacks.

One of the patrol teams came across a group of eight to ten armed men sitting in a camp. The two other teams were subsequently called to provide support. They laid siege to the camp and signalled the rebels to surrender. An exchange of fire between the two sides broke out and lasted for about ten minutes. The insurgents managed to break through and escaped.

A trail of blood left on the escape route led to the belief that one or two militants might have been wounded. Isra Chanthakrayom, commander of the 45th Ranger Task Force, contacted military units in the adjoining area between Chanae and Rangae districts, instructing them to check hospitals in the area where injured rebels might have sought medical treatment.

Five Abus rounded up in Basilan, Sulu
[PhilStar] Five Abu Sayyaf militants operating in Sulu and Basilan surrendered to the regional police office in this city on Thursday.

Zamboanga police spokesman Froilan Quidilla said the rebels also turned over five rifles, two of which have grenade launchers; several magazines with ammunition, four rounds of rifle grenades and two fragmentation grenades.

“The continued campaign to convince Abu Sayyaf members to return to the fold of law and... pressures brought by relentless efforts of the Joint Peace and Security Control Center... resulted in the surrender,” Quidilla said.

Iran claims to catch 17 CIA spies, sentences some to death
[IsraelTimes] Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
on Monday said that it had caught 17 CIA spies operating in the country at sensitive facilities and that some of them had been sentenced to death.

A bigwig at the Ministry of Intelligence told a presser that the spies were found in "critical and crucial centers as well as the private sector" and that some were working as a "contractor or consultant," Iranian media reported.
Mwhahahahaha! Wrong spies! Try again. Should be fun to get more contractors to come work for your shrinking rials
The spies were found at nuclear, military, and cyber-crimes centers, the official said.

In June, Iran said it had dismantled a CIA spy network operating in the country and that it would provide more details at a later date.
Fox News adds:
The roundup of the alleged espionage cell ensnared 17 people during the past several months and was completed by the end of March, an Iranian official said at a news conference in Tehran. The official was identified only as the director of the counterespionage department of Iran’s Intelligence Ministry, which is highly unusual in Iran, as officials usually identify themselves at press conferences.

Emails from Fox News to the CIA and the State Department were not immediately returned.

"The identified spies were employed in sensitive and vital private sector centers in the economic, nuclear, infrastructural, military and cyber areas...where they collected classified information," said a ministry statement read on state television.

Pictures of some of the alleged spies were reportedly shown on state TV, which also broadcast a documentary purporting to show a CIA officer recruiting an Iranian in the United Arab Emirates.

Air strikes kill 11 in Syria's Idlib: Observatory
[AlAhram] Air strikes killed at least 11 people in rebel-held northwestern Syria on Sunday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, and the Syrian state news agency said the army had repelled an attack by forces of Evil in the area.

In central Syria, state media also said that a train carrying phopshate was derailed by a kaboom east of Palmyra, causing injuries among the crew.

It did not identify the perpetrators of the attack. Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group forces of Evil are still active in central Syria.

The northwest is the last major foothold of the rebellion against Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Leveler of Latakia...
, who has vowed to recover the whole country but has made little or no gains in more than two months of military operations in the area.

The Observatory said Syrian government air strikes killed six people, including a child, in the village of Urum al-Jawz in western Idlib province.

Four more people, including two children, were killed in strikes on Kfarouma in the south of the province.

A Russian air strike killed a civil defence volunteer in the town of Khan Sheikhoun, the Observatory said.

The civil defence, also known as the White Helmets, identified him as Anas al-Diab, a volunteer and media activist it said was killed while documenting the air strikes.

The Observatory said the deaths increased the number of civilians killed by Syrian government or Russian bombardments in the northwest to 682 since late April. It said 53 civilians had been killed by rebel attacks on state-held areas in the same period.

Some 1,500 combatants on both sides have been killed in the same period, it said.

Syrian state news agency SANA said the Syrian army had repelled an attack by holy warrior groups who had targeted army positions protecting the village of al-Qasabiya in southern Idlib.

SANA said army units destroyed vehicles belonging to the Nusra Front and its affiliates had been destroyed in the attack, during which the forces of Evil used jacket wallahs.

The Nusra Front is today known as Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else
...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State...
, a jihadist organization that holds sway in the Idlib area.
