Egyptian police apprehended the perpetrators shortly after the attack

Operation Dignity denies loss of Benina and Air Defence base
[Libya Herald] Rumours circulating in Benghazi that Ansar al-Sharia
...a Salafist militia which claims it is not part of al-Qaeda, even though it works about the same and for the same ends. There are groups of the same name in Libyaand Yemen, with the Libyan versions currently most active. Tunisia's Shabaab al-Tawhid started out an Ansar al-Sharia and changed its name in early 2014. It still uses the old name now and then, probably because the stationery's not all used up and the web site hasn't expired yet...
and its allies have taken control of Benina Airport and a nearby Air Defence Forces' camp have been denied.

Head of Saiqa Special Forces
...Libya's elite army unit, insofar as they have one, formed from a mixture of paratroopers and commandos. The group emerged from a militia with the same name in 2010. It now numbers a few thousand and reports to the Ministry of Defence. It deployed in Benghazi in an attempt to control the carnage. As a result, it has been attacked and several of its officers murdered. The force is popular in Benghazi for its stance against Ansar al-Sharia group...
Investigations Unit Fadel Al-Hassi told the Libya Herald that members of Operation Dignity remained in defensive positions in both locations and had retained them despite heavy fighting nearby.

Hassi said at least four members of Operation Dignity had been killed during festivities today and said he believed Ansar al-Sharia had also sustained casualties.

Fighting has been reported in Benghazi in the Islamist held districts of Sidi Faraj, Guwarsha and Hawari but with, as has become usual in recent weeks, the worst of the fighting taking place in Buatni and on the approach to Benina Airport.

Hassi said that, away from the fighting, Dignity forces were still the subject of liquidations. He said that today Saiqa Special Forces officer Misbah Al-Maghrebi had been shot and killed by unknown assailants in the city.

Water supply to Tripoli cut, yet again
[Libya Herald] Residents in Tripoli

woke up yesterday to find that their water supply has been cut yet again — the third in as many years.

The Ministry of Water Resources reported yesterday that the water cut was due to power cuts on Friday at the water wells of the Man-made River in the Hassauna area.

The Ministry said that work was being undertaken to return water supplies, which should start to return to Tripoli on Sunday.

Libya militias say captured Tripoli airport
[Iran Press TV] An alliance of Libyan militias claim they have taken full control of the international airport in the capital Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
days after heavy festivities with other rival Lions of Islam in the area.

On Saturday, a group of militias, known as Fajir Libya [Libya Dawn], announced that they were in control of Tripoli International Airport, which has remained closed since July 13 amid skirmishes in the area.

Over the past weeks, the strategic area situated 30 kilometers south of Tripoli has witnessed festivities between Fajir Libya militiamen, partly comprised of men from Misrata, and Zintan forces loyal to former renegade General Khalifa Haftar.

If the claim is confirmed, it would be a major defeat for the Zintan forces that held the airport since the fall of former Libyan dictator Muammar Qadaffy
...who single-handedly turned a moderately prosperous kingdom into a dictator's fantasyland and was then murdered by his indignant subjects 42 years later...
in 2011.

Meanwhile,
...back at the Hubba Hubba Club, Nunzio had his hands full of angry bleached blonde...
the Fajr Libya militas accused the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt of having a hand in two Arclight airstrikes targeting their positions in Tripoli over the past week.

Ahmed Hadia, a front man for the militia group, said 13 of its forces had been killed and 20 others maimed in the second air raid carried out by unknown warplanes on Friday night.

"We reserve the right to respond at the opportune moment," said Hadia, adding that Fajir Libya militias believe the country's provisional government and newly elected parliament "are accomplices" in these air raids.

Earlier this month, Libya's newly elected parliament asked the UN for a military intervention to protect civilians amid relentless festivities. The legislative body also voted to dissolve rival militias, giving them an ultimatum to join the military and police by the end of 2014.

Nearly three years after a popular uprising, Libya is still grappling with rising insecurity despite efforts by the central government to impose law and order.

Ten dead in new air raid on Libyan militia near Tripoli
An unidentified warplane bombarded Islamist militia positions near Tripoli airport overnight, leaving at least 10 people dead, a spokesman for an alliance of Libyan militias said on Saturday.
Unidentified warplane. Ruritanians? Lutherans? Esquimaux?
The aircraft targeted an army base to the south of Tripoli and a nearby warehouse, Mohammed Al Ghariani, spokesman for Fajr Libya (Libyan Dawn), said on An Nabaa television station.

Islamist fighters including a group from Misrata, east of Tripoli, have seized the army base from a rival militia from Zintan, west of the capital. During a lull in the fighting, the Islamist militia organised a visit on Thursday for Libyan journalists to prove they had captured the building, which was the army's headquarters during the regime of long-time dictator Moammer Gadhafi, overthrown in 2011.

Ghariani said "at least 10 men" from Fajr Libya died and 20 others were wounded in Friday night's raid, which followed an initial air strike last Monday. An-Nabaa television, which is close to the Islamists, later raised the toll to 13 deaths and 30 wounded, but without giving a source.

"We haven't identified the plane that carried out the raid, just like those that attacked us on Monday," the Fajr Libya spokesman said.

Rogue general Khalifa Haftar, who opposes the Islamists and favours the Zintan militia, claimed Monday's raid but specialists doubted his ability to carry out such an attack.

An air force unit which has refused to join an offensive launched by Haftar in the eastern city of Benghazi said the aircraft were "foreign, not Libyan".

It said Libyan aircraft are not equipped to make night flights and cannot be refuelled in flight, particularly if they take off from remote air bases controlled by Haftar's forces.
Okay, so it had to be the Ruritanians. No way the Lutherans can do in-flight refueling...

Africa Subsaharan
Boko Haram exploits in Gwoza: The inside story
[SUNNEWSONLINE] "Sincerely speaking, my people, including the traders and other businessmen and women, have been prevented from travelling to Maiduguri to buy industrial and household goods for sale to customers in my chiefdom with an estimated population of 655, 000 in 11 wards and other border communities with Cameroon
...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there...

Besides that, there is no blessed day the Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
gunnies will not kill 7 to 15 residents on these three roads that had already been blocked and taken over by krazed killers. My people have been prevented from going to work on their farmlands last year; and even the limited cultivated farmlands with harvests, including my 350-hectre farmlands and orchards at Jaje village, were seized by the bully boyz last October Therefore, I am pleading, and will continue to beg the Military, Police and other security agencies in the state to take emergency action on the three blocked and taken-over roads in Gwoza council area. If my people flee to Cameroon, leaving me alone in this palace, who will I rule, as their traditional and religious leader in this chiefdom?"

Those were the words of the late Emir of Gwoza, Alhaji Idris Timta, in April, this year, in his "Save Our Soul" SOS, letter to the Federal Government and all the security agencies in Borno State.

But by May this year, about one month after crying out, the late emir was sent to his grave, by the same people-Boko Haram, he had cried to security agencies, to save his people from.

And even after his death, the bully boyz appear not done yet with the town, surrounded by several hills. At the last count, the town, Saturday Sun's investigations reveal, has been seized by the krazed killers, with the late emir's son, who is now the new emir, fleeing to safety.

Before the emir's date with the bully boyz in May this year, one of his sons, who was the District Head of Takumbari, in Gwoza Council area of the state, was also killed last year by the krazed killers.

To show their current control over the town, the bully boyz have appointed a spiritual leader, known as Ameer, for the town. The Ameer, who now sits on the emir's throne, and holds court regularly, right inside the palace, Saturday Sun's investigations further reveal, is a native of Gwoza.

Gwoza, for whatever reason, Saturday Sun recalls, has always been a centre of attraction for the krazed killers, since 2004, when they first invaded Borno State, then on the auspices of the "Nigerian Taliban."

The group first struck in Yobe State in December 2003, precisely December 22, a day after, according to the then governor, Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim, they had promised to leave the state. The group equally struck again on December 31 2003, in Yobe State, while on their way to Borno State on a New Year day, when they engaged in a gun duel with military personnel drafted to the border town between Borno and Yobe states, a situation that left two of the members dead.

The group's first strike in Borno State, Saturday Sun further recalls, was recorded on Tuesday, September 21, 2004, when the group invaded Bama and Gwoza towns, in Borno State, where the Area Commander-in-Charge of Bama, Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Ismail Sirajo, was brutally murdered.

But after about four days of shootout between them and a combined team of Army and mobile coppers then, the group was subdued, losing about 40 of its members in the process.

The operation, carried out during former President Olusegun Obasanjo's second term in office, was supervised at the time by the current chairman of the Police Service Commission, retired IGP Mike Okiro, as DIG, in charge of Operations, under the then IGP Tafa Balogun.

Why is it then difficult for the Army to rout the bully boyz from Gwoza, considering the fact that the late emir had raised the alarm on the group's occupation of parts of his territory before his death?

Although, the Army is yet to issue any statement since the bully boyz occupied major parts of Gwoza formally, about two weeks ago, a highly placed personality from the area told Saturday Sun: "We are at a loss, as to what is happening. No one can really say, we can only continue to guess."

"Remember that the governor once came up to speak on the need to equip and motivate our soldiers so that they can confront these criminals headon. His call was misconstrued. But recent events and statements from both the Presidency and the Army have further vindicated the governor.

Nigeria: Soldiers Agree to Confront Boko Haram
[ALLAFRICA] Soldiers of the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army who on Tuesday refused to go to Dalwa village in Damboa LGA of Borno State changed their stand Wednesday by advancing to confront the Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
bully boys, sources told our correspondent.

But those selected to go to a military facility in Bama before proceeding to Gwoza have still not gone, insisting that they must be given superior weapons.

Gwoza was taken over by the forces of Evil over two weeks ago and attempts to reclaim the rocky town proved abortive.

The forces of Evil have reportedly taken over the emir's palace after hoisting their flag.

Security sources said the number of troops going to Dalwa as well as weapons for the operation were increased, a development which gave the soldiers confidence to advance.

A source said troops would clear Dalwa and adjoining villages and bushes in the next few days.

"The rancour has been resolved and our troops are advancing forward. I cannot tell you the kind of weapons they are using or how many they are because that would be wrong. They are well equipped," he said.

The troops sent to Dalwa earlier in the week were ambushed on the way, prompting a retreat.

They resisted going back on Tuesday by stopping in the outskirt of Maiduguri after they left the Maimalari barracks.

Boko Haram Executes Two People For Smoking Cigarettes
[DAILYCALLER] The turban Islamist group Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
has taken control of another town in northern Nigeria and executed two people for smoking cigarettes, the International Business Times reports.

Apparently taking a page from ISIS's tactical handbook, the group has moved from intermittent bombings and kidnappings to more coordinated seizures of territory throughout Nigeria.

The terrorist organization, whose name means "Western education is forbidden," seized a policy academy nearby their stronghold in Gwoza this week as part of their ongoing campaign to set up an Islamic caliphate in Nigeria.

"The capture and holding of territory presents a significant evolution in Boko Haram's modus operandi," Africa analyst Ryan Cummings told AFP. He said that its latest gains are evidence that the group is "slowly but surely out achieving its primary goal — the creation of a caliphate in northern-eastern Nigeria governed under sharia law."

According to the Council on Foreign Relations' Nigeria Security Tracker, Boko Haram killed over 6,000 people between April 2011 and July 2014, with other estimates as high as 10,000. There is so little hope that earlier this month a group of military wives protested their husbands being sent to fight the Death Eaters: "We cannot continue to lose our husbands in the hands of these wicked people called Boko Haram. Many of our women here in the barrack are widows, whose husbands were killed by the terrorists, and that's why we said no, we cannot continue to watch our husbands being killed just like that."

"I left Buni Yadi yesterday [Wednesday] because it was no longer safe for me and my family," said one trader from the region. "The gunnies rubbed out two men for smoking and they also killed a known drug peddler."

Smoking is considered by many Islamic scholars to be haram, or unlawful, because of prohibitions against harming oneself and wasting money. (RELATED: Jihadi Militants Ban Smoking And Guns In Conquered Territories)

Smoking is already banned in public places in many parts of Nigeria, while debate still rages about an unratified comprehensive tobacco bill from 2009, which would ban all tobacco advertising, smoking in public places, cigarette vending machines, sale of individual cigarettes and packs containing fewer than 20 cigarettes, and sale of tobacco products to minors, among other things. Some have raised concern about the increase of tobacco smuggling if the bill is ratified.

"Currently, the security situation in Nigeria is squalid and could get worse through an anti-tobacco law that is not a product of deep thinking," wrote security consultant Ambrose Jemide. "Very importantly, our politicians need to pass a bill that is equitable and capable of ensuring that criminal gangs and their franchises do not exploit it to their benefit or make the country a smuggling route. Failure to this will yield a law that was passed without taking into consideration the people it is designed to protect. When bully boyz and other criminals have access to funds, as may be offered by proceeds of illegal tobacco, it is like trying to put outs fire with a bucket of petrol."

Suspected Qaeda bomb kills Yemeni general
[Al Ahram] "A bomb went kaboom! in the car of General Ahmed Mohammed Saleh al-Omari, logistics and supplies officer of the third military region... wounding him and his son" in Aden's Al-Mansura district, a military official said, Both were hospitalised but Omari later died of his wounds, the official and a medical source said.

Yemeni authorities blame Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which has been branded by Washington as the bully boy network's deadliest franchise, for most attacks on members of the security forces.

India-Pakistan
4 killed as India, Pakistan trade gunfire in Kashmir
[ARABNEWS] India and Pakistain traded gunfire in the disputed Kashmire region on Saturday, killing two villagers on each side and wounding several others, officials said.

Dharmendra Pareek, a top official with India's paramilitary force, said Indian forces retaliated after Pak troops fired guns and mortar rounds on more than a dozen Indian border posts and at least three villages in the Ranbir Singh Pura region.

Pareek said two Indian villagers were killed, including an 8-year-old boy. One Indian border guard and three civilians were maimed, but their injuries were not life-threatening, he said.

Television images showed Indian villagers taking shelter in bunkers.

The region is about 300 kilometers (185 miles) northwest of Srinagar, the main city in the Indian portion of Kashmire.

In Pakistain, a senior army officer said two villagers were killed when the Indian border security force "resorted to unprovoked firing" along the border near the city of Sialkot in the Pak portion of Kashmire.

The officer spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media on the record.

Indian Defense Minister Arun Jaitley said cease-fire violations by Pakistain had increased in the region, adding that "both the Indian army and the Border Security Force are fully vigilant and they effectively respond to each violation."

Kashmire is divided between India and Pakistain, and the rival neighbors claim the disputed Himalayan region in its entirety. They have fought three wars since gaining independence from Britannia in 1947, two of them over Kashmire.

The two sides have largely followed a 2003 cease-fire accord, but sporadic violations have occurred.

Tensions have escalated in Kashmire since India earlier in the week called off diplomatic talks with Pakistain because the Pak ambassador in New Delhi met with separatist leaders from the disputed region.

"The murder may be linked with the victim's dispute with someone over a plot in the area," said Karachi-West SSP Irfan Baloch. He added that the PAF employee had been attacked in the past also for an identical reason. The Sherlocks found six empty casings of a 9mm pistol.

The dear departed was associated with the intelligence wing of the PAF, said a Saeedabad police official.

He added that Abu Bakr was attacked in 2011 allegedly by Asad, alias Gullu, over a plot dispute. Later on, he submitted a compromise in court and the suspect was released.

Car bombs kill 15 in Iraq's Kirkuk
[Al Ahram] Two bombs went kaboom! near buildings under construction in Iraq's northern city of Kirkuk,
... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time...
the buildings were used as observation positions by security forces, while a third bombing struck the entrance to a market.

A police colonel said that the market blast may have been a suicide boom-mobileing, while the doctor said that three security forces members were among the dead.

The bombings come as Iraqi federal and Kurdish security forces battle a jihadist-led holy warrior offensive that was launched in June and has overrun large areas of five provinces.

In the early days of the onslaught, Iraqi soldiers left their positions in oil-rich Kirkuk province, the capital of which is the city of the same name.

This cleared the way for Kurdish forces to take control of it and other disputed northern areas that they have long wanted to incorporate into their autonomous region, over the strong objection of Baghdad.

Iraqi Shia Muslims facing massacre by ISIL in Amerli: UN
[Iran Press TV] A senior UN official has warned that Shia Turkmen residents of an Iraqi town besieged by the ISIL Takfiri

gunnies could be massacred if urgent action is not taken to rescue them.

The residents of this small Shia Turkmen community about 180 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad have been living under the ISIL siege for more than two months.

"The situation of the people in Amerli is desperate and demands immediate action to prevent the possible massacre of its citizens," UN Iraq envoy, Nickolay Mladenov, said in a statement.

The UN official noted that a severe humanitarian crisis is unfolding in the region.

"I urge the Iraqi government to do all it can to relieve the siege and to ensure that the residents receive lifesaving humanitarian assistance or are evacuated in a dignified manner," the statement read, adding. "Iraq's allies and the international community should work with the authorities to prevent a human rights

This comes as Iraqi Prime Minister-designate Haider al-Abadi has promised aid for the town. He has called on the army to send forces and logistical support to Amerli.

On Friday, Ayatollah Sistani expressed concern

Bomb attacks leave over 40 dead across Iraq
[Iran Press TV] Security and police officials say at least 41 people have been killed when multiple bomb kabooms destroyed several cities in conflict-stricken Iraq.

On Saturday, three boom-mobiles killed 21 people and maimed 118 others in the northern city of Kirkuk,
... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time...
situated 236 kilometers (147 miles) north of the capital, Baghdad.

Two of the bombs went off near buildings under construction that were used as observation positions by Kurdish security forces, while the third struck the entrance to a market.

Earlier in the day, a bomber blew his explosives-laden car outside an intelligence headquarters in Baghdad, killing at least 11 people.

A second bomber drove his car into a gathering of Shia volunteers and Iraqi soldiers near the city of Tikrit, located 140 kilometers (86 miles) northwest of Baghdad, killing nine people there.

Two civilians were also injured in a blast in the Kurdish city of Erbil.

There has been no claim of responsibility for the attacks, but they bore the hallmarks of Takfiri

Iraq envoy, Nickolay Mladenov, has warned that Shia Turkmen residents of the northern Iraqi town of Amerli, which is besieged by the ISIL Takfiri terrorists, could face massacre if urgent action is not taken to rescue them.

The ISIL faceless myrmidons have threatened all communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Izadi Kurds and others, as they continue their advances in Iraq.

They have been committing heinous crimes in the areas they have taken, including the mass execution of civilians as well as Iraqi army troops and officers.

Gaza tower collapses after Israel strike, several injured
[Iran Press TV] The Tel Aviv regime has bombed a 12-story residential building in the center of the beleaguered Gazoo Strip, leaving several maimed.

The Zafer Tower, located in Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in southern Gazoo City, was toppled by Israel's warplanes on Saturday.

Two missiles hit the tower within seconds causing a massive fireball, which was followed by smoke billowing into the sky.

The strikes, which shook the neighboring high-rises in the area, brought down entire tower with 44 apartments.

"People started shouting Allahu Akbar, and women and kids were screaming," said, a resident, adding, "This is crazy. The state of Israel has resorted to madness. In less than a minute, 44 families have become displaced ... They lost everything, their house, their money, their memories and their security."

According to some reports, 22 people were maimed, including 11 children and five women.

The Israeli military said it targeted a room belonging to Paleostinian resistance movement Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, in the building.

Press TV's correspondent in Gazoo said the collateral damage was immense, adding, the residents of two nearby buildings had also been warned to evacuate for impending Arclight airstrikes.

Israeli warplanes and tanks have been pounding the blockaded enclave since early July, inflicting heavy losses on the Paleostinian land.

Some 2,100 people, mostly civilians, have bit the dust and over 10,200 have been injured despite pressure from the international community on the Tel Aviv regime to end aggression against Paleostinians.

#5  Again, notice that the Israelis WARNED the residents to get out. If Israel wanted to simply murder Gazans, they would have struck in the middle of the night, with no warning. So, instead of a hundred or more dead, there were only 22 wounded.

Of course, Israel's enemies (i.e., most of the rest of the world) focuses on the poor people who lost "everything". Except of course their lives.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
24 jihadists killed in new push to take Syria air base
[Al Ahram] Clashes came as the Islamic State group launched a new bid to capture the Tabqa base, the government's last bastion in the northern province, the rest of which is in the hands of the jihadists.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Saturday the attack began overnight when a jacket wallah went kaboom! at the entrance to the base, prompting festivities that killed 14 IS fighters.

The two sides exchanged rocket, artillery and heavy machinegun fire, and the army deployed air strikes against the attacking jihadists, the Britannia-based group said. The air raids continued into the morning, with eight strikes against the town of Tabqa that killed 13 people, among them an additional 10 IS fighters.

Those deaths brought IS losses since it began its assault on Tabqa to at least 94, with more than 400 maimed, according to the Observatory. IS has brought in reinforcements from other areas it controls in Syria, as well as neighbouring Iraq, the Observatory added.

The assault on Tabqa comes after IS seized the army's Brigade 93 and Division 17 posts in Raqa, killing dozens of soldiers, some of whom it beheaded. The army has airlifted reinforcements to the base and stepped up air strikes against IS positions across Raqa, using both precision rockets and barrel bombs.

On Saturday afternoon, Syrian state television
... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
broadcast images from Tabqa showing soldiers it said were "ready to repel any new attack". It also showed the bodies of what it said were "terrorist mercenaries of the Islamic State".

"These bully boyz have tried to attack the airport several times in recent days but have been repelled by the force and bravery of the army heroes," it added.

"The Tabqa military airport is secure, the army is defending it and launching attacks against the gunnies outside the base," an officer interviewed at the base told the state broadcaster.

Jihadis release video of captured Lebanese troops
[Al Ahram] Al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate released a video Saturday showing Lebanese coppers and a soldier captured by the group earlier this month during the most serious cross-border attack since Syria's conflict began more than three years ago.

The captives said they will be killed if Leb's bad boy Hezbollah movement, which backs Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Before going into the family business Pencilneck was an eye doctor. If he'd stuck with it he'd have had a good practice by now...
, does not withdraw its fighters from Syria.

The al-Qaeda-branch known as Nusra Front is also demanding the release of detainees held in Leb, some of whom were charged in connection to bombings that killed and maimed dozens of people over the past year, according to Lebanese media. Leb's Association of Moslem Scholars, a group of Sunni holy mans, has been trying to mediate a deal to release the captives.

The video showed nine bearded men, eight of them in police uniforms and one wearing military fatigues.

Lebanese army commander Jean Kahwaji told An-Nahar newspaper that 20 soldiers remain missing. He defended his command decisions from criticism by local media, saying the soldiers' posts in border areas had been reinforced before the attack.

Other soldiers and coppers are believed to be held by other rebel groups who took part in the Aug. 2 attack on the Lebanese border town of Arsal, which is home to tens of thousands of Syrian refugees.

The video, released by Nusra Front's media arm, al-Manara al-Baydha, appeared genuine and corresponded to other AP reporting of the events.

Israel shells southern Lebanon after rocket attack
[Iran Press TV] The Israeli regime has shelled southern Leb after rocket fire from Leb into northern parts of occupied Paleostinian territories.

On Saturday, the regime fired artillery shells into southern Leb after rockets were launched against the northern city of Akko, slightly hurting two children.

The rocket was reportedly fired from the Christian-populated village of Alma in the Zgharta District and hit a building in eastern Akko.

Since the beginning of the Israeli war on the besieged Gazoo Strip such incidents have happened several times.

Once again, the WH is giving the appearance of doing something but in reality doing little. What Obama and those around him had done before totally screwed things up in the Mideast. Obama had more than two years to do something to get Foley out safely. Obama is too focused on global warming, racial politics, Alinskyite politics and golf--screwed up set of domestic priorities. Seems like his priorities follow the 24/7 news cycle from day-to-day. The military appears to have performed perfectly--in and out with no losses in a hotbed of terrorists. Substitute "insufficient" for "faulty." Without going into a lot of detail, HUMINT was near to non-existent. Intel was mainly SIGINT.

Also, take into account that IS has a measure of experience. I would wager that Ferguson was being moved every few hours.

As a member of the Night Stalkers I am a tested volunteer seeking only to safeguard the honor and prestige of my country, by serving the elite Special Operations Soldiers of the United States. I pledge to maintain my body, mind and equipment in a constant state of readiness for I am a member of the fastest deployable Task Force in the world, ready to move at a moment’s notice anytime, anywhere, arriving time on target plus or minus 30 seconds.

I guard my unit’s mission with secrecy, for my only true ally is the night and the element of surprise. My manner is that of the Special Operations Quiet Professional, secrecy is a way of life. In battle, I eagerly meet the enemy for I volunteered to be up front where the fighting is hard. I fear no foe’s ability, nor underestimate his will to fight.

The mission and my precious cargo are my concern. I will never surrender. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy, and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.
