Mom Brutally Beats Math Teacher Half to Death In School Hallway, Feral Students Join In
Some very interesting comments listed below the story.
[DAILYCALLER] A middle school math teacher in Long Island, N.Y. was left unconscious in the hallway of her school on Wednesday after she was attacked by an irate parent who claimed the teacher “put her hands on” her child.

But the teacher, 22-year veteran Catherine Engelhardt, says she did nothing improper to the student and has long been fearful of parents who she says have no control over their children.
Doesn't sound like they have any control over themselves, either.
The mother, 34-year-old Annika McKenzie, stormed into Alverta B. Gray Schultz Middle School in Hempstead on Wednesday. She said her daughter claimed that Engelhardt had handled her using improper physical force. McKenzie bypassed security
...how exactly? Officer Fife wasn't paying attention to the front door or did a feral help out?
and waited for Engelhardt outside of her classroom.

Engelhardt called security
That worked well. How was Beast Woman able to just stroll into the school?
during a confrontation, but McKenzie allegedly assaulted her in the meantime, putting the teacher in a head lock until she lost consciousness.
Put. Her. In. A. Headlock.
Engelhardt passed out and fell on the ground.
Concussion caused by Beast Woman's blackjack? Or she choked off her air or her blood flow. I guess it could be that the teacher wasn't built as ruggedly as Beast Woman and simply passed out from the shock of being assaulted in a public school hallway.
Students, including McKenzie’s 14-year-old niece, began punching and kicking the teacher, who laid on the ground for several minutes.
The pack of feral children joined in the fun.
She was later taken to the hospital and suffered a concussion.
It was the blackjack, then.
McKenzie and her niece were both arrested following the incident, which was caught on the school’s security camera. A bystander took a picture of Engelhardt as she was passed out on the ground.

McKenzie pleaded not guilty to second-degree assault charges and bailed out of jail on Thursday. Her attorney defended her actions, saying that any parent would defend their child.
Oh, hell yeah. My parents used to beat the crap out of any teacher that... Oh. Wait. No, they didn't. Actually, if one of my teachers had "put her hands" on me, my Dad might still not be done walloping me.
“Obviously she is very upset but you would also be upset if someone was manhandling your child,” attorney Donald Rollock told reporters.
Sure, sure. We all engage in disgraceful behavior at the least provocation. Nothing to get worked up about. Or maybe it is.
But Elias Mestizo, the president of the Hempstead Classroom Teachers Association, said there is no evidence that Engelhardt did anything improper to McKenzie’s daughter.

“Yesterday, we saw what we don’t want to see anywhere in any school,” Mestizo told reporters.
We never used to see this sort of merde. I'm not sure why... Oh, wait. Maybe it was because we had manners? Could that be it?
We had Dads, you and I...
“Many teachers throughout the district and in this school also do not feel safe in the building, and there are reasons for that. And action needs to be taken immediately.”

Engelhardt was too shaken up to talk about the attack on camera, but provided a statement about the incident to WABC.

“It’s not like I thought a parent would do something, but I knew something violent was going to happen,” she said in the statement. “I’ve warned them time and again that the children have no respect for adults. Yes, I fear for my safety. They can’t control the kids.”

#4  The new post-Trayvon, post-Ferguson narrative is that any black person can do anything they want to any white person and if the white person resists it's treason.

This narrative was approved by Jackson, Sharpton, and white leftists who live in places where they are safe from violent blacks.

#5  If there is a teachers union it will be interesting how this may play out. If I were the teacher I would get my own lawyer and put pressure on the DA and school admin to file attempted murder charges for the 'choke out'. She should fight fire with fire and say the last thing she heard was 'die bitch'. I would also demand the student be expelled from the school immediately and forever.

#6  Teachers' Unions are the mainstay of the regime. But, black victimhood is a fundamental part of ideology. But, so is global warming---which doesn't stop top party members jetsetting and the middle rank driving SUVs. So, Airandee, I guess the teacher will get enough $$$ to shut her up, and the student will be transferred.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Turkish man injures colleague by pumping air into backside
[Hurriyet Daily News] Pumping pressurized air into a friend's backside is apparently a prank not as rare as many people may think, particularly in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
, as seen by the latest potentially fatal incident.
Oh, sure. I've heard of... ummm... no similar incidents.
A 42-year-old man, identified as R.H., was hospitalized on April 16, after one of his colleagues, identified as 39-year-old H.S.T., jokingly pushed a pressurized air gun into his anus while working at a plastic factory in the central Anatolian province of Karaman, according to Dogan News Agency.
How many people do you know, or even suspect, have ever jokingly pushed a pressurized air gun into anyone's anus, friend or otherwise?
Fellow workers, including the pranker, took R.H. to the hospital after he collapsed when his stomach instantly filled with air.
"Har har! Hey, R.H! You look like a balloon wid feet!"
He underwent an operation at Karaman State Hospital and was still at death's door at the hospital's intensive care unit on April 17 with partially torn bowels.
"Careful, Doctor Kildare! He could blow at any time!"
Police detained the suspect, who initially claimed the victim had fallen on the air gun accidentally,
"Yeah. He fell. It wuz terrible."
before admitting to the prank.
"Ummm... Yeah. It wuz me."
Potentially fatal air gun pranks are as old as the tool itself, with one of the oldest examples in Turkey reported in 1962, when a worker in Ankara was maimed. Similar jokes continued around Turkey in the 2000s, leading to several injuries.
Take that sort of thing into account when you're packing your pants for your trip to Turkey.
Pressurized air gun pranks have also resulted in injuries around the world, from Britannia to China. In January 2013, a Bangladeshi cleaner in Dubai was sentenced to six months in prison due to a similar prank, according to local media.
I'm glad I lead such a sheltered existence.

Gwyneth Paltrow gave up on food stamp challenge after day 4
[FOXNEWS] Gwyneth Paltrow
...Hollywood interchangeable blonde and Eva Braun taste-alike, who's convinced herself that it would be wonderful if Obama were given all the power that he needs. She was married to a guitar player in a rock band, but now she's becoming long in the tooth so he's moved on to somebody else...
is less like the average person than she would like you to think.

After Chef Mario Batali challenged the actress to feed her family for a week on a $29 budget -- what low income families on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) receive -- Paltrow admitted in her Goop newsletter that she failed.

"As I suspected, we only made it through about four days, when I personally broke and had some chicken and fresh vegetables (and in full transparency, half a bag of black licorice)," she confessed. "My perspective has been forever altered by how difficult it was to eat wholesome, nutritious food on that budget, even for just a few days--a challenge that 47 million Americans face every day, week, and year."

Paltrow shared a picture of the groceries she purchased with the $29.

Her list included things like cilantro, limes and avocados -- items many people on Twitter pointed out were not smart buys.
Eggs, store brand frozen vegetables, a basic multivitamin, baked or refried beans on toast, occasionally fresh meat from the marked-down-because-almost-expired bin at the end of the display, ditto overripe fruits and vegetables, powdered milk and powdered mashed potatoes, store brand boxed mac'n'cheese -- and all of them bought on sale if possible. Surviving poverty takes a lot of time, effort, and self control.

Police commissioner Mariano Zarate said: 'In a moment when the attackers were not paying attention, the house owner took a samurai sword and defended himself, injuring the attackers and making them run away...

#1  People forget, for close quarters combat, pretty much nothing still beats a sword. They do not inflict knife wounds and a slash even if it doesn't hit bone can cause massive bleeding. They can stab deep enough to hit organs with ease and cut off limbs as well.

U.S. must return rare double eagle gold coins to family
[Rooters] The U.S. government must return 10 exceptionally rare gold coins worth millions of dollars each to a Pennsylvania family from which the purloined coins were seized a decade ago, a federal appeals court ruled on Friday.

By a 2-1 vote, the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia said Joan Langbord and her sons Roy and David are the rightful owners of the double eagle $20 gold pieces, after the government ignored their claim to the coins and missed a deadline to seek their forfeiture.
The wheels of justice turn slowly. Now let us see if the coins can be found and properly returned.

This Week In Guns, April 18th, 2015

By Chris Covert

Rantburg.com

From about ten days ago: the FBI is chucking the .40 Cal. Smith & Wesson in favor of the 9mm Parabellum. The main reason is that the .40 S&W is too hard on their guns. I didn't know they were shooting them that much! Anyway, one of the key points in this study that stood out for me was the statistic that law enforcement hits about 20 to 30 percent of the time in real time combat with bad guys.

That is terrible marksmanship, except for the fact cops have to worry about backgrounds and have to discriminate among targets among several likely factors.

Speaking of Smith & Wesson rounds, a fella on Facebook is into the business of converting Mosin-Nagant 7.62x54R rifles into .500 S&W. The link is to his website, but it doesn't open. His Facebook page is here. I left a comment asking if he just sells the barrel, and the fact is, as I read it, he just modifies existing .500 S&W barrels, chambering them, then machining the extractor cut.

I am assuming the standard Mosin-Nagant bolt can be head spaced to a .500 S&W. A large, dangerous assumption, I know, so it is worth trying to contact him about that issue as well.

According to Wikipedia, the rim diameter for the 7.62x54R cartridge is .567, while the rim diameter for the .500 S&W is .556, which is close, but sufficiently different to question the efficacy of the conversion.

Speaking with acquaintances in meatspace about the .500 S&W, it packs quite a wallop as a handgun round. A check of Armslist.com comes up with exactly zero rifles with the .500 S&W.

A Sugar Creek, Oregon Oathkeepers security operation is gearing up. Originally it appeared that Oathkeepers sent out an email saying that its request for assistance was for Oathkeepers only, and I have seen very little that would counter that request.

That said, the Patriot Information Network, the folks who are coordinating southern border patrols has sent out a request for assistance on behalf of the Oathkeepers. You can call 559-726-1300 Access 639939# for more information. The request is for 200m individuals.

This is apparently not a stand off with the Bureau of Land Management, so they say, but the BLM is involved.

Holder's list of citizens banned from gun ownership mostly hurts vets
[Wash Times] The chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee wants Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. to explain why a Department of Justice gun ban list has a "mental defective" category consisting almost entirely of names belonging to military veterans and their dependents.

"It's disturbing to think that the men and women who dedicated themselves to defending our freedom and values face undue threats to their fundamental Second Amendment rights from the very agency established to serve them," Sen. Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican, said in a statement Wednesday. "A veteran or dependent shouldn't lose their constitutional rights because they need help with bookkeeping."

Mr. Grassley outlined his concerns about the list to Mr. Holder in a letter dated this week. It included various failures by the Department of Justice -- including the inconsistent application of standards and weak due process protections -- that have led to the Department of Veterans Affairs adding "a disproportionate number of names" to the federal gun ban list.

All federal agencies are required to report names of individuals who are dangers to themselves or others to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System's "mental defective" category -- a status that prevents them from owning or possessing guns.

That means that veterans "are particularly singled out," Mr. Grassley said. Those veterans should not be required by the Department of Veterans Affairs "to prove that they have the ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights," he said.

Africa Subsaharan
South Africa apologizes for anti-immigrant violence
[AA.TR] South Africa on Friday apologized to African countries and the international community for a recent spate of attacks on foreign migrants in the mineral-rich country.

"It is... with a deep sense of pain and regret that we, as the South African government, humble ourselves and express our heartfelt apologies to the African continent -- and indeed the international community on the lam -- for these unwarranted developments," International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane said in an address to African diplomats in Pretoria.

The minister said her government views the anti-immigrant attacks as "criminal" offences that would not be tolerated.

"South Africa is a constitutional democracy governed by laws. Everyone working and living in the country must obey its laws in their totality," she said.

"The South African government will enforce the laws of the country and will not hesitate to act against criminal activity or those found to incite violence," she added.

South Africa has seen increasing anti-immigrant violence that has mostly targeted migrants from elsewhere in Africa.

The violence began last week in the coastal city of Durban, where mobs descended on the homes and shops of foreign migrants, accusing them of stealing jobs, committing crimes and putting a burden on social services.

Six people have died so far in the violence.

The bloody incidents have forced some people from Malawi and Mozambique to leave South Africa after their governments hired buses to bring them back to their home countries.

Foreigners threaten South Africans with guerrilla war if xenofobiese continues
[The South African] Immigrant community members in Durban have threatened South Africans with violent "retaliation" should the spate of xenophobic -- or, Afrophobic as some would prefer calling it as it's aimed purely at other Africans -- attacks continue.

The immigrants, many of whom are on asylum visas and as such are not allowed to 'work locally', have lost their spaza shops and corner cafes to violent evictions and looting over the last week.

The sh*t hit the fan when the Zulu king, Goodwill -- ironic -- Zwelintini, called for all foreign nationals to leave South Africa. As we all know, South Africa's traditional leaders are experts in socio-economic and micro-environmental management policy... uhm.

Foreigners reportedly don't feel as if the police are doing enough to protect them from these crimes, even though hoardes of SAPS have been bussed into the area. Oh honey, it's not just you.... Welcome to Mzanzi, enjoy your stay.

China-Japan-Koreas
China 'building airstrip' in disputed South China Sea territory
[The Guardian] China is making rapid progress in building an airstrip suitable for military use in contested territory in the South China Sea, according to new satellite images.

The facility, on reclaimed land around a reef, would be big enough for fighter jets and surveillance aircraft. IHS Jane's Defence Weekly said images from Airbus Defence and Space, taken on 23 March, showed the runway on Fiery Cross reef in the disputed Spratly archipelago already stretched to 500m and had room to grow to six times that length. Paved sections of apron were also visible.
Draw a line from Ho Chi Minh City Saigon to Manila. The Spratlys are south of that line. Rather far away from China, in fact.

The Grand Turk
Mules not shot, jumped off cliff, says Turkish governor
[Hurriyet Daily News] The governor of Sirnak said a pack of mules allegedly used for smuggling and found dead in the southeastern province were not killed, but rather had jumped off a cliff after being startled by the sound of gunshots, according to a main opposition party deputy who went to the province to investigate the incident.

Melda Onur, who is a deputy for the Republican People's Party (CHP), said Sirnak Governor Ali Ishan Su had said the dead mules were not shot but had fallen off a cliff when they heard the sound of gunshots.

Onur went to Sirnak with members of the Animal Rights Federation (HAYTAP) to investigate the deaths of the 25 mules.

"15 mules that were shot in their necks died immediately. The others bravely ran away but the soldiers captured and shot them," said Onur, contrary to what the governor had claimed, adding that HAYTAP veterinarians treated nine of the maimed mules and had found bullet marks.

Onur also said a mule that escaped the incident and became trapped was being refused rescue by soldiers, adding the mule's owner had been bringing it food and water every day so it would not die from starvation.

The Sirnak Governorate issued a statement with regards to the meeting between the governor, Onur and the accompanying group, stating the use of mules for smuggling was against animal rights.

"We expressed that they [Onur and the accompanying group] should also warn citizens about smuggling," read a part of the statement.

Anti-measles injections claim lives of five children in Balochistan: parents
[DAWN] Five children died of anti-measles injections Friday as the Balochistan

Five children ranging from two to nine years died in Balochistan's Killa Saifullah district in the past days.

However,
there's no worse danger than telling a mother her baby is ugly...
Balochistan's Director General Health Dr Farooq Azam contradicted the parents' claim and termed diarrhoea as the underlying reason behind the deaths.

"The health condition of my kids deteriorated when health officials administered anti-measles injections to them," Juma Khan, the grandfather of one of the children, told DawnNews.

The claim was vehemently denied by health officials.

Zain murder case: Kanju sent on judicial remand
[DAWN] An anti-terrorism court (ATC) today sent Mustafa Kanju, alleged killer of a Lahore youth Zain, and four of his accomplices on a 14-day-long judicial remand.

Last week, the ATC's presiding judge Rai Ayub Marth had extended Kanju's physical remand for six days and had directed the police to complete their investigation of the case before its next hearing.

The judicial remand would allow the police to collect evidence pertaining to the investigation in order to frame charges against Kanju. These will then be presented in the ATC.

In a hearing at the ATC on April 3, Kanju had argued that the fact that he had fired shots did not mean they led to Zain's death. He had claimed innocence, saying the police and the victim's relatives were conspiring to trap him in the case.

Also, Kanju's lawyer had stated that Zain, a 16-year-old orphan, had fallen victim to cross-firing between his client and his 'opponents' ─ whom he did not identify ─ and that Kanju had no personal enmity with Zain.

After being sent on an eight-day physical remand by the ATC, Kanju on April 5 confessed to firing the shots that resulted in Zain's death. He asserted that he was not intoxicated at the time, and that he resorted to gun sex upon becoming enraged after an accident. He said Zain was not the target of the fire, nor did he intend to kill Zain or anyone else.

Forensic reports revealed that Kanju's fingerprints were on a Kalashnikov firearm that was recovered from the scene.

On April 2, Mustafa Kanju was placed in durance vile
Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
and a case was registered against him under 7-ATA and Section 302 of the Pakistain Penal Code.

The arrest came a day after Kanju opened indiscriminate fire when his luxury car accidentally hit the vehicle of a woman in Lahore's Cavalry Ground. Bullets hit Zain, a motorcyclist, and Husnain, 18, who had come out of the house after hearing the noise. Zain, a class-IX student, was struck down in his prime and Husnain was critically injured.

Sources claimed six security guards who worked for Kanju were arrested on the night of April 1 from his residence in Old Cavalry Ground. Police had also recovered empty shells of a gun from the scene of the crime and had later seized the gun used in the incident.

Pediatricians Warn of Abortion-Breast Cancer Link
[Breitbart] In a press release last week, the American College of Pediatricians urged health care providers to educate young women about the strong link between abortion and breast cancer.

In 2013, Dr. Rebecca Johnson, a cancer specialist at Seattle Children's Hospital, released results of a study that demonstrated that the number of advanced breast cancer cases has increased among younger women, aged 25-39 years. After an analysis of 34 years worth of data from many countries, Johnson and her colleagues found that induced abortion was likely a causal--not correlational--risk factor for the development of breast cancer.

The pediatricians group also revisits the fact that studies from China, India, and Romania show incidence of breast cancer increasing as the number of abortions increase, with a "dose effect" demonstrating "an increasing risk of breast cancer with each subsequent abortion."

Recent College President Dr. Den Trumbull states, "When one considers the normal anatomy and physiology of the breast it becomes clear that this link is causal, not merely correlational."

#2  I thought Rand Paul's recent 'seven pound baby' question was a bit of genius. An inconvenient question directed at those not wishing to be inconvenienced by human life or anything else.

And we wonder why those in the beltway will not secure the borders and stop the flood of illegals into the country. Like the Euro's, our 'betters' well understand the numbers, 'zero population growth,' and long-term impacts. Without a constituency, they have no power.

If the peasants demand that their infants be legally slaughtered, and this results in closed schools, and gov't services reduced, then new peasants [immigrants] must be found to replace them. The fact the new peasant is illiterate and does not wish to participate in the political procerss matters little. In fact it's an added plus. He remains silent, compliant, and avails himself to the gov't services. The perfect citizen of Oceania.
