Marines to build POW camp at Kandahar
  • U.S. Marines plan to build a prisoner-of-war camp at Kandahar's airport to house up to 300 al-Qaida fighters they hope will surrender or be captured near Tora Bora in eastern Afghanistan.
    Significant that they hadn't built one to this point. Doubt if they expected any prisoners up until the end game. Now the ones they get will probably be more valuable than the Mazar-e-Sharif fodder.
