"He turned over and made a deal with the United States, "a Middle Eastern intelligence source told the magazine. On top of the £16 million bounty offered by the US government, he also negotiated extra cash for him and his family to relocate to the UK. A US law-enforcement official confirmed to Newsweek that the reward had been paid, but declined to discuss details. The US is also offering a £16 million bounty for information leading to the arrest of bin Laden.
