Westerners Urged To Avoid Tourists Sites In Cairo
Amid increasing unrest and Islamic insurgency attacks, Western countries have warned their nationals to stay away from Egypt. Britain and the United States have warned their citizens against traveling to Egypt or visiting certain areas. The two countries said Westerners could remain the target of Islamic insurgents. "American citizens should maintain a heightened awareness of their surroundings and should not linger amid groups of tourists in public areas," the State Department said.
