Jordan Reshuffles Intelligence Agency
Jordan has reshuffled its intelligence community. Jordan's King Abdullah has ordered the creation of a national security agency. The new organization would help coordinate the kingdom's intelligence and security community. Abdullah replaced his intelligence chief, Saad Khair, who served in the post since 2000. Khair was replaced by Gen. Samih Asfura. The king then ordered Khair, appointed to field marshal, to create a national security agency.
