Lori Piestewa's Family to Receive New Home
Lori Piestewa, believed to be the first American Indian female killed in combat, left behind 3 children in the care of her parents. The family of five has received a new home from ABC as part of the reality show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition". This episode is scheduled to air May 22, 2005. In addition, their community received a new Veterans Center as part of the program. Former POW Jessica Lynch -- Lori's best friend and roommate in Iraq -- will be on board for the build.
