Huge polio vaccination program underway in Indonesia
In the Indonesian island of Java, a huge polio vaccination campaign has begun - nearly six and a half children under the age of five will be vaccinated in an attempt to stop the current polio outbreak that has hit the area. The areas included in this programme are Jakarta, Banten, and West Java. Sixteen people have now come down with polio (two up on last week) - all of them are small children who were never vaccinated. This outbreak took place in West Java. Authorities are including Jakarta and Banted in this campaign because they are neighbouring regions. Experts are sure this polio virus came from
