Africa Wants Two Permanent Security Council Seats
 SIRTE, Libya (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) â African Union leaders, due meet here on Monday, July 4, will press for allocating two permanent seats for Africa in an expanded UN Security Council. The draft declaration, approved by the foreign ministers Saturday, June 2, calls for "two permanent seats with full privileges including veto rights... and five non-permanent seats on the Security Council," AU spokesman Desmond Orjiako told Agence France-Presse (AFP).
