London-bound United flight diverted, gets all clear
A United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to London was diverted to Boston after flight crews reported suspicious behavior and three passengers were questioned and released, the airline said on Tuesday.
"The three were questioned by local authorities and released," said United Airlines spokeswoman Robin Urbanski. Flight 934 had been cleared to continue, she added.
"A few hours into the flight, the crew noticed some potentially suspicious behavior on the part of three passengers and made the decision to divert to Boston around 3:36 a.m. local time," Urbanski said.
Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman Jennifer Peppin said the FBI also interviewed the three passengers.
