5 Pakistanis killed by landmine blast
 At least five Pakistani troops were killed and two others injured in a landmine blast in the country's North Waziristan tribal region, military sources said. An army vehicle was hit by a roadside land mine at Data Khel village, some 20 kilometers southwest of Miran Shah, the headquarters of North Waziristan, close to Afghan border, the sources said. The incident took place at 2:30 p.m local time when a military vehicle was passing the area and an improvised explosive device was used in the attack.
