Hizb ut-Tahir islamic under investigation in Aust.....
THE Federal Government has ordered an urgent ASIO report into a radical Islamic organisation in Sydney.The Hizb ut-Tahir group which has been banned in Britain describes suicide bombers as martyrs and denounces Western values. A Sydney newspaper has reported that Attorney-General Philip Ruddock asked for the investigation into the group, which has been meeting secretly in western Sydney. Islamic community leaders have already complained the group, known also as the Party of Islamic Liberation distributes anti-Western literature.
