Tancredo Predicts Fight In Congress Over Immigration
Big surprise here Bring it on(09.02.05 - AP) â Congressman Tom Tancredo is vowing to fight any effort to give amnesty to workers in the United States illegally. Pressure is mounting on Congress to revisit the nation's immigration policy. This fall lawmakers are expected to take up a slew of bills dealing with everything from border security to guest workers. Let them know how you feel write letters e-mail call fax knock on doors etc etc If an amnesty bill is introduced, Tancredo says he'll do whatever he can to enlist the aid of every organization he can to get the word out. You Da Man The White House declined comment on Tancredo's remarks yesterday. A spokeswoman says President Bush is still consulting with Congress on the issue and welcomes all input.
