Organization of Islamic Conference slams India over fence
Strongly supporting the Indo-Pak peace dialogue, the organization of Islamic Conference has said the process should lead to solving of the "core dispute" of Jammu and Kashmir and raised the issue of UN resolutions in this regard.It, however expressed "serious concern" over the building of the fence along the line of control by India which, it alleged, is in contravention of international and bilateral agreements. The ministers called upon the international community, particularly the United Nations and United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) to "take note of the Indian actions and ensure respect and implementation of all international and bilateral agreements on LOC."
