Notes from Bodyguard
Hey Guys, I just got back to Ku. from Baghdad, Great trip! The picture isof my Aide and I in front of the Baghdad Intl. Airport. We spent a few days there, then we moved to a palace between the airport and Baghdad proper. The Palace was incredible, it's the same one you read about or seen on Fox news or CNN with GEN Franks. Marble as far as the eye can see, and everything was gold plated. I can honestly say I slept in one of Saddams' beds, and took a dump on one of his gold plated toilets! (Plugged it up proper, too!) It was very frustrating in a way, because the palace and grounds has to be worth at least 50 million, and there are dozens of these palaces all over Iraq; and every last one was paid for by food for by oil for food money. I'll write more later. PS Dar, got another box, was great, and another one passed me at 20,000 feet going the other way as I flew back into Kuwait.
