Pakistan in billiion dollar contract with SAAB for AWACS
SAAB wins provisional Pakistan airborne surveillance system contract Saab AB said its provisional contract to supply an airborne Surveillance System for Pakistan is worth a total of 8.3 bln skr, with two thirds, or 5.5 bln for itself, and one third for Ericsson Microwave Systems. Saab AB said it has signed a provisional contract to supply an airborne Surveillance System for Pakistan. There are a number of outstanding issues that remain to be resolved until a final contract is in place, said Saab CEO Ake Svensson.
