Banned outfits using quake to fill coffers
 PESHAWAR: Banned militant organisations are taking advantage of peopleâs sympathies with the earthquake victims by collecting donations for the âmujahideenâ on the unofficial Eid day in Peshawar. âDonate generously to the Jaish-e-Muhammadâs mujahideen,â a bearded young member of the organisation was heard shouting near Baghan-e-Naaran Park in Hayatabad.Besides Jaish, other banned organisations operating with new names, like Jamatud Dawaa (formerly Lashkar-e-Taiba), also used the occasion to collect donations from the faithful. JD, which is on a government watch list, has been very active in collecting donations for the earthquake victims. âWhat if the government has banned the Jaish.
