Nepal Necropsies Numerated
KATMANDU- Soldiers killed about a dozen civilians returning from a festival near Nepalâs capital after mistaking them for communist rebels, an official said on Thursday.The army opened fire at the people around midnight, said Bashanta Raj Bhattarai, the chief administrative official of Bhakatpur district. He said he was not sure about the exact number of casualties but witnesses said at least a dozen had died. Other details were not available and the army did not immediately comment on the incident.
