Two electricity pylons blown up, power to Kohlu suspended
 Unidentified men blew up two electricity pylons in Barkhan and fired rockets in the Fazil Chel and Maiwand areas of Kohlu and the Dasht Godan area of Makran division on Thursday. A Quetta Electricity Supply Company (QESCO) spokesman said two 33/11 KV pylons were damaged at about 4:00am, which resulted in the suspension of electricity to Kohlu. He said QESCO teams would be sent to the area for repair work after getting clearance from security forces. Kohlu residents said security forces continued attacking Kot Mundhai and other areas where a large number of cattle were killed. They said many people were also killed and injured during the past five days. The injured were unattended because they could not be taken to hospitals because of the siege by security forces and fear of arrest, they said, adding that many people were arrested while going to hospital during military operations in the 1970s.
