USS Ronald Reagan Departs for First WestPac

Godspeed and safe trip...Hello Tehran?CORONADO -- The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan will depart from Naval Air Station North Island on Wednesday on its maiden deployment to the Western Pacific in support of the war on terrorism. Also leaving from San Diego are the guided-missile destroyers McCampbell and Decatur and guided-missile cruiser Lake Champlain, part of the Ronald Reagan Strike Group, according to Navy public affairs. there's always at least one sub accompanying as well...
