Eco-terrorist arrested
A different shade of green from Islam, but terror is terror.Tucson environmental activist Rodney Adam Coronado was arrested here Wednesday after being indicted in California on a charge of demonstrating how to use a destructive device. Coronado, 39, a self-proclaimed member of the Earth Liberation Front, taught and demonstrated the making and use of the device on Aug. 1, 2003, at a public gathering in San Diego with the intent that it be used to commit arson, according to a news releasefrom the U.S. Attorney's Office. The one-count indictment was issued by a federal grand jury in the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of California. The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, arrested Coronado Wednesday, the release said. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine.
