Gunmen assassinate high-ranking official in Iraqi oil ministry
 Iraqi police said on Thursday that a high ranking official from the Iraqi oil ministry has been assassinated by unknown gunmen south of the capital. A police source said the armed men killed the general director of the heavy Equipment and Engineering department Wadie' Yahya Saleh.
