Pakistan deports Australian Qaeda suspect
Melbourne: Pakistan sent back on Tuesday an Australian cab driver who was arrested on 4 January, on suspicion of having links with al-Qaeda. Jack Thomas, an Australian cab driver was arrested in Karachi while trying to board a plane for Hong Kong. Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayyat said Thomas was alleged of getting training in an Al-Qaedaâs camps in southern Afghanistan but after investigation no charge could be proved against him.
