JihadWatch: Ahmadinejad's letter a call to accept Islam?
An initial thought on Ahmadinejad's letter to Bush. When he says this, he is calling Bush to accept Islam -- since in traditional Muslim belief it is only Islam that guarantees "monotheism, worship of God, justice, respect for the dignity of man, belief in the Last Day."... In a Hadith, Muhammad tells his followers to call people to Islam before waging war against them: ... In light of that, this letter could be -- but is not necessarily -- a prelude to an attack.
