Seven killed in fresh violence in Sri Lanka
 At least seven people, including five Tamil rebels, were killed on Friday in fresh fighting in Northern and Northeastern Sri Lanka. Five members of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) were killed in a conflict with the breakaway LTTE faction led by Colonel Karuna in Trincomalee in Northeastern Sri Lanka, news agency Press Trust of India reported from capital Colombo.
