Gunmen kill Iraqi police officer in Kirkuk
 Police Lieutenant Nazem Al-Obaidi, chief of the citizenship and passports department in Kirkuk was gunned dead Monday by a group of unidentified gunmen. A senior official in the Kirkuk Police Department told KUNA that Al-Obaidi was attacked on the Baghdad road near Al-Mansour Mosque and was transferred immediately to Kirkuk's general hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.Posted by: Fred 2006-05-23 |
