Russia's Iraq staff 'kidnapped'
 Can Russia afford the standard ransom?A number of Russian diplomats have been abducted by gunmen in Iraq's capital, Baghdad, an Iraqi interior ministry official has said. Some reports said that one Russian had been killed in the attack in the west of the capital, but this has not been officially confirmed. Police have given conflicting reports of the number of embassy workers taken but the official said it was four. The Russian embassy in Baghdad has declined to comment yet on the case.
