Strong quake jolts southern Iran
TEHERAN - A strong earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted the port of Khamir in the southern province of Hormozgan on Saturday, the official news agency IRNA reported. The quake struck at 10:45 am (07:15 GMT). There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. The shock was also felt on the Gulf island of Qeshm, the report said.
