Hamas’ armed wing claims latest attack
The armed wing of the militant Palestinian group Hamas has claimed responsibility for the West Bank shooting that killed an Israeli and wounded three other people, including two Americans. In a statement faxed to AFP, the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades said it was behind the shooting that occurred just as US Secretary of State Colin Powell was meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in Jerusalem. "Ezzedine Al-Qassam claims responsibility as a tribute to our hero prisoners in Nazi-Zionist jails," the statement said. "We will not stop the struggle as long as there is one prisoner in the jail of our enemies." We guessed you did it, but thanks for the confession.
