Israeli soldier missing after deadly Gaza attack
One Israeli soldier was missing after a deadly Palestinian attack early Sunday on a military outpost in southern Israel, the army said.Palestinian militants from the Gaza Strip infiltrated Israel through a tunnel early Sunday, and killed two Israelis before soldiers shot dead three gunmen. Several other Israelis were injured. Earlier Sunday, Palestinian militants said they had the body of an Israeli soldier. Israeli ground troops entered the Gaza Strip hours later, their tanks blowing up smoke and dust as they made their way about a half-mile into the Palestinian-controlled territory, an Associated Press reporter at the scene said.
