Working under the hood...
Just an update on the rebuild. Comments are now done, and the main page. I still have to do the Poster page and two or three others. I'm hoping to make the changeover tomorrow, and then we can live with bugs for a week or two until I've got them all killed. The new database should make things faster and smoother — fewer timeouts, though I don't think we're going to get away from the problem of slow loads by the end of the day.Posted by: Fred Pruitt 2003-06-23 |
