Mortar shell kills three in Abu-Shdaira
 (KUNA) -- At least three civilians were killed Saturday when a mortal shell landed in Abu-Shdaira area, while the death toll of the car bombing in Al-Jihad district in Western Baghdad mounted to three. Security source from the Iraqi Interior Ministry said that a mortal shell landed in the residential area of Abu-Shdaira area, South of Baghdad. The mortal shell killed three civilians and injured another nine. Regarding the Al-Jihad district, the source said that shortly after the car explosion, a mortal shell fell near in the same location targeting police patrol, noting that death toll increased to three and another 17 got injured in the same attack.Posted by: Fred 2006-07-09 |
