At least two dead, 17 injured in Israeli air raids
(KUNA) -- At least two people were killed and 17 injured when Israeli warplanes bombarded the Beirut-Damascus highway Sunday night, security and medical sources said. They told KUNA in separate statements that ambulances rushed to the scene of the attack to assist the injured and recover the dead. The Israeli jet fighters also bombed sites in Baalbek in eastern Lebanon. The Israeli warplanes continued shelling different areas nationwide.Posted by: Fred 2006-07-17 |
