Iraqi forces arrest terror cell connected to attacks in Kirkuk
(KUNA) -- Iraqi security officials in Kirkuk said in a statement on Sunday that they arrested a terrorist cell accused of several terrorist operations in the area. The statement added the terror cell included members who were divided into planning and implementing of terrorist operations.

Among there operations were a failed assassination attempt on Kirkuk's governor Abdurrahman Mustafa, the assasination of director of the Labour Union in Kirkuk Bushra Ismail, in addition to a car bomb attack on Al-Rafidain Bank which killed 25 poeple. The statement also said the arrest was made by Iraqi police forces of the Al-Asaysh directorate and incorporation with Iraqi military.
