Pakistani police arrests over 90 Afghan suspects
(KUNA) -- Police Sunday arrested over 90 Afghan nationals for illegal stay in the country and also involvement in minor crimes from Southwest insurgency-hit Province, said police sources. The Afghan nationals were arrested in different raids from various areas of Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan, sources told KUNA. Sources said they belong to Urazgan, Zabul and Kandahar provinces of Afghanistan. They added that cases under Foreign Act have been registered against them.

More, from Daily Times...
“Sixty Afghan nationals were arrested in a raid in Pashtoonabad and another 22 were arrested from Satellite Town,” an official source told Daily Times. He said that the remaining 10 Afghans were arrested from Berwery and Saddar police station areas. He added that the police had registered cases against them under the Foreigners Act. “We believe that the arrested Afghans had links with the Taliban, but it would be premature to say anything till the investigation is completed,” said another officer.
Wonder what brought that on?
