British soldier killed, five others injured in Basra
 (KUNA) -- A British soldier was killed and five others were injured on Wednesday during armed confrontations with insurgents in Basra, said the spokesman for British forces. In a press release, he added that British structures and military bases in Basra were bombarded with missiles and rockets on Tuesday and Wednesday. Armed groups bombarded the British consulate and military bases with over 100 rockets and projectiles, he said.
