Coalition forces kills 8 Afghan 'extremists'
 Soldiers from the US-led coalition killed eight "extremists" in a firefight in eastern Afghanistan, a US military statement said yesterday. The eight militants attacked coalition troops on Wednesday in the Asadabad district of restive Kunar province, the statement said.
