Israel denies conducting Baalbek air strike
THE Israeli army has denied its warplanes had launched air strikes in Lebanon after police there reported aircrafts targeted an uninhabited area near Baalbek in the east of the country."We have not carried out air strikes in Lebanon since the ceasefire took effect" on Monday, an army spokesman said. Lebanese police had earlier reported that helicopters and drones flew at low altitude 22 km northeast of Baalbek and fired four missiles.
