Iraqi soldier killed, seven injured in two attacks in Kirkuk
(KUNA) -- One Iraqi soldier was killed and two others wounded in a bomb attack against an Iraqi army patrol in the west of Kirkuk, northern Iraq, Friday, a police source said. He added that five policemen, including an officer, were injured in a separate attack in west of Kirkuk. The source, elaborating, told KUNA an explosive device went off near an Iraqi army vehicle in Rashad town in Kirkuk killing one soldier and injuring two others.Unknown gunmen tossed a hand grenade at a police patrol in Huwaijah injuring five policemen.
