Turkey Cabinet Approves Lebanon Force
ANKARA, Turkey (AP) -- Turkey's Cabinet decided Monday in favor of sending peacekeepers to Lebanon and will seek parliamentary approval for the deployment, officials said. Parliament will convene to debate the deployment as early as next week, government spokesman Cemil Cicek said."In principle, we've decided to join the U.N. peacekeeping mission," Cicek said.
