Police officer, two militants killed in Balochistan clash
 QUETTA: A senior police officer and two suspected militants were killed in an exchange of fire in Balochistan on Thursday, police said. The killings took place in Lora Lai district, some 300 kilometres southeast of Quetta, when police raided a militant hideout, Arif Akram, a senior police official, told AFP. Police officer Khalid Garamkani was killed and another officer was injured in the shootout in which two militants were also killed, Akram said.
