 Yet another example of having the right to remain silent, but not the ability....Call it a case of "too much information." A Mesa police officer was writing a citation for underage drinking to Nathan Palmer, 19, outside a party last week in the 1000 block of South Seton. When the officer looked into the brown paper bag and saw a 40-oz. bottle of Steel Reserve beer, he mentioned to Palmer that it was a cheap alcohol that many "tweekers," or meth users, drink. Palmer protested. "Call me anything but a tweeker," he said, according to a police report. "I smoke weed sometimes, but I don't tweek." The officer asked Palmer where his weed was, and the teenager pulled a plastic sandwich bag out of his pocket filled with "a green, leafy substance."
