Deadly explosion at Iranian wargame site
Three people were killed and three others injured due to the explosion caused by an unknown object. Speaking to IRNA, Abbassali Mir-Hosseini, deputy governor for political and social affairs of Gonbad-e Kavous, added that the explosion took place around Saturday noon near the area called Chirqoymeh where armed forces stage wargames. After the blast, police officers arrived at the site of the accident and collected the remains of the exploded material, which will be given to experts for further analysis, he said. Chirqoymeh, about 30 km north of Gonbad-e Kavoos, is the area for holding military drills of the armed forces of Golestan and Mazandaran provinces.
