IDF intelligence: Hamas has anti-aircraft missiles
The head of the IDF intelligence research department, Brig.-Gen. Yossi Baidatz, said Sunday that Hamas was smuggling advanced anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles into the Gaza Strip. The development meant that the army had to prepare for a new reality in Gaza that would likely include stiffer resistance to IDF raids. The new weapons could also increase the danger for aircraft flying missions over Gaza, Baidatz said.
