N Korea charges US leaders
North Korea has charged all US presidents dating from Harry Truman to George W Bush with war crimes, ahead of the 50th anniversary of the armistice to end the Korean War. A body calling itself the Pyongyang International Tribunal on US Crimes in Korea said the US leaders and their aides were guilty of crimes during the 1950-53 conflict. Who do they think they are, Belgium? Other offences including drug trafficking and violating the armistice agreement, according to the official North Korean news agency. The tribunal was authorised by "democratic international organisations, progressive anti-war peace organisations, justice-loving individual figures and lawyers", according to the agency.
