Olmert calls on Russian Jews to 'pack their bags'
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called on the Russian Jewish community on Thursday to "pack their bags" and emigrate to Israel even though their lives in Russia were "comfortable" and they had a "friendly and supportive" president in Vladimir Putin. Olmert was speaking at an event with the local Jewish community at a Chabad center in Moscow, which was attended by Russian-Israeli billionaire Lev Leviev. At the event, Olmert praised Leviev for his Jewish educational projects throughout Russia.
