Islamic insurgents kill 2 Pakistani soldiers
Islamic insurgents killed two soldiers and seriously wounded three in a northwestern Pakistan tribal region, officials said Friday. The assailants attacked a security post late Thursday in Shakai, a mountain valley in South Waziristan tribal area. Two soldiers died after being shot and three others were seriously wounded and transported by a helicopter to a military hospital, said an area intelligence official.
