Obama Says He Is Considering 2008 Presidential Run
 (Bloomberg) -- Senator Barack Obama of Illinois said he is considering seeking the Democratic nomination for president in 2008, departing from previous statements that he planned to remain in the Senate through 2010. Obama, 45, said he hasn't made a decision, something that will have to wait until after the congressional election. ``Given the responses that I've been getting over the last several months, I have thought about the possibility'' of running for president, Obama said today on NBC's ``Meet the Press'' program. ``But I have not thought about it with the seriousness and depth that I think is required.''
